His activity as part of the IT Law Firm is focused on the field of privacy and data protection law, e-commerce and IT contracts.
He has been collaborating with IT Law Firm since 2016.
Since March 2023, he has been a member of the Support Pool of Experts (SPE) of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB), as legal expert in the data protection field.
He graduated in Law from the University of Bologna with full marks in 2016, with a thesis on with a thesis on Legal Informatics related to Profiling, Big Data and Data Protection.
He subsequently held the position of tutor for the Master in IT Law and Legal Informatics at the University of Bologna (XIX-XX editions).
He refined his skills in the post-graduate course in “Data Protection and Privacy Officer” at the University of Bologna (successfully completed in 2022).
From March 2023 to October 2024, he was engaged in a Research Fellowship at the University of Bologna, working on data protection and data governance legal issues posed by data platforms.
Expert in the field of private law at the University of Bologna since 2022 (“Cultore della materia”, IUS/01), he is currently pursuing a PhD in European Law at the same University, where he is researching civil law issues related to Artificial Intelligence, especially from a data protection law, consumer protection law, and contractual law perspective.
He teaches in the Post-graduate programme in Cybersecurity and Law at the University of Bologna and in the Post-graduate programme in Privacy and Data Protection Officer at the same University.
He is author of articles and essays on legal informatics and, especially, data protection law (list of publications).
