F.A.Q.
Before deciding to engage a law firm, it's natural to have questions.
To support this decision-making process, we consider a preliminary meeting —either in person or remotely—during which you can outline your legal issue, understand our working approach, and evaluate whether we are the right fit for your needs.
In this section, we’ve collected answers to the most frequently asked questions we receive from companies, professionals, and organizations. These cover key aspects of our legal advisory services, our fee structures, and the main areas of practice of our firm.
The cost of legal advice varies depending on the complexity of the matter and the area of law involved.
As a general indication, the fee for a standard legal consultation (in person or online, approximately 60 minutes) ranges from €250 to €450 + VAT.
Transparency prevents surprises and supports financial planning.
For this reason, based on a preliminary assessment of the matter submitted, the firm provides a cost estimate for the legal services required to adequately address the Client’s needs.
All fees are calculated in accordance with the Italian Ministerial Parameters for Legal Fees (D.M. 55/2014) and are clearly agreed upon at the start of the engagement.
For ongoing fiduciary relationships, estimates may be based on specific activities or hourly rates.

We believe that getting to know each other is key to determining if we are the right firm for you. This is why we consider a preliminary meeting (in person or remotely), during which you can explain your legal matter, get to know our approach, and decide whether to entrust us with your case.
Yes, because we understand that while companies and professionals are naturally focused on growth, innovation, and creation, there are times when their actions, rights, and interests must be defended—including through legal proceedings.
In the specific areas in which we operate, we offer:
- Strategic legal advisory
- Targeted contract assistance
- Litigation and legal representation, including before higher courts
- Criminal representation for victims of crimes
- Representation in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), including mediation, assisted negotiation, and conciliation
- Assistance before Regulatory Authorities and self-regulatory bodies.
We are often asked whether we use artificial intelligence (AI) tools in our professional activities. AI is discussed everywhere today, and it may seem that it can provide every answer, piece of advice, or form of assistance.
It is therefore important to provide a clear answer.
An attorney’s experience and reliability are what set them apart as both professionals and human beings. For this reason, we believe that AI cannot replace the roles and responsibilities of the IT Law Firm’s professionals.
That said, AI tools can support the work of an attorney, for example in verifying the sources and precedents cited by counterparties or in carrying out specific technical analyses, such as in anti-piracy, intellectual property rights verification, or online content research.
However, the use of AI does not replace direct sources of knowledge and updating (books, journals, articles, continuing education, seminars, and conferences), in relation to which the results obtained through AI must always be confirmed. AI support never exempts us from human verification, for which the IT Law Firm's professionals are fully responsible.
AI is not used by the IT Law Firm’s professionals for activities based on the competence, experience, and reliability of the attorney. In general, we do not use it to prepare legal documents, contracts, legal opinion, and documentation for legal use by the Client.
However, because IT Law Firm specializes in Information Technology issues, there are cases where AI is an intrinsic part of the assignment —for example, when assessing the compliance of an AI tool with privacy regulations or evaluating potential violations of intellectual property rights, such as trademarks or copyrights. In these situations, the Client is always fully informed of any activities that will involve the use of AI.
